Standing United at Fusion Alliance
As an organization, we are community focused and committed to improving the lives of those in our communities. We have and continue to support the United Way of Central Indiana and the United Way of Greater Cincinnati, which provide services and support to agencies that are impacting our communities in very meaningful ways. By focusing on the issues affecting the community as a whole, the United Way is able to impact issues in both immediate and long lasting ways.
In both the Central Indiana and Greater Cincinnati areas, children are starting school lacking basic skills and falling further behind each year. Families find themselves in difficult economic situations and struggle to make ends meet. Many in our communities are facing issues of food and housing insecurity. Many still face a lack of access to health and nutrition resources. United Way does a terrific job in focusing on the needs of those in our communities with a broad view and has been a leader in driving collaboration to meet those needs and positively impact the future of our children and our communities.
In years past, our employees have been very generous. Our investments have made it possible for the United Way to:
- Improve quality in early care and education programs;
- Increase financial stability for families in the community;
- Improve high school graduation rates;
- Improve access to quality health and nutrition programs.
The United Way in both Indianapolis and Cincinnati are making progress, but there is still much work to be done. We’re asking you to join us in helping the United Way build stronger communities for all of us to live in and work in. We’re asking that you contribute to this year’s campaign – STANDING UNITED – with a monetary donation, your time, and/or your talent. We really believe we can help our communities have the best year possible, especially in the areas of education and our children.
If you have previously supported the Fusion Alliance’s United Way campaign, we thank you and ask that you join us again. We believe there is demand for our continued focus on children and education. In such, we will match your donations up to a combined city total of up to $10,000. If you have not given before, we hope that you will begin a tradition of improving lives annually by supporting our United Way campaign.
